The annoying little sound of an alarm clock, buzzing to wake you up to start the day. The little devise should be destroyed, as people swat at it to turn it off in order to catch a bit more sleep. Exactly what both Nathan and Xavier woke to each morning no matter what, even on weekends when one of them was to lazy to turn it off the night before. A sleepy hand was out reached from his place under the navy blue blanket surrounding them, searching the night stand for the little buzzing object on a search and destroy mission. Alas after a few minutes of not locating, the hand was retracted to pull the blanket from it’s owners head, only to reveal a head of messy, brown hair and sleepy green amber eyes. Those eyes slowly turned into a glare as the sound continued.
“Xave.” Nathan whined, not ready to be pulled from sleep as he glanced over at his brothers bed, only to find it empty and frowned slightly. That was until he heard a grumbled response from next to him, accompanied by a tightening of the arm on his waist which nathan had missed before. “Go turn that thing off!” he whined again, realizing that he couldn’t find it because it was in fact on the other side of the room next to Xavier’s bed, obviously it was moved. He waited a bit more, shoving at his brother who refused to open his eyes with a glare, but finally gave up and pushed the blankets from his body as he pulled himself from the warmth of both the bed and Xavier embrace. “Your such a jerk!” he commented angrily, stalking over to the alarm clock to hit the off button.
The was room was sent back to silence, expect for the faint sound of chirping birds from outside, welcoming the day to come and the faint sound of his brother breathing. Nathan sighed, now being fully awake as he walked over to the curtain covered window, pulling back to snow white drapes to let the bright sun light of 8 o’clock into their room. Satisfaction ran through him though as he heard a groggy groan come from the bed behind him. He turned, only to see Xavier tossing and turning to avoid the deadly light, but soon settled for pulling the blanket over his head with another unhappy groan.
“Get up Xave” Nathan said, voice filled with amusement. “Come on, it’s time to get up. You got me up and I’m returning the favor.” he added, walking to the side of his bed in which held his blanket covered brother.
Nathan smirked lightly, reaching down to pull the navy blue material from his face, but soon found a hand curl around his wrist, belonging to Xavier. He pulled him just enough to make him lose balance, tumbling to the bed below next to him. A familiar arm found it’s way around his waist as he snuggled close to him, using him as a human pillow.
“I’m not a morning and neither are you. At least now your not.” Xavier mumbled sleepily, nuzzling nathan’s neck softly.
“And what makes you decided what I am? Huh?” asked nathan with a hint at anger, wanting to get back up as he pushed at Xavier but was alas stuck in the tight embrace.
Xavier just smirked softly, hiding his face further into Nathan’s neck. “I love you.” he murmured softly, kissing the open flesh lightly. At those words Nathan seemed to melt right into Xavier’s touch, no longer resisting his embrace but instead enjoyed it.
“Love you too.” he whispered back, as his hand found it’s way into his dirty blond hair, combing through it gently.
