A/n: Here's the next chapter! Hope you like and stuff. LOVE YOU ALL! ((This as well as every other chapter is for Reiko and moon_shadow; You guys rock))
The darkness all around, surrounding from every angle in the cold, wet place that Nathan currently was laying in. Sprawled on the floor on his back, eyes closed as he moved restlessly before waking. Green amber eyes shooting open in horror, looking around desperately for anything to tell him we’re he was, but nothing could be seen. Something sticky, yet wet was noticed briefly on his fingers as he sat up glancing around. “X-Xavier?” he questioned, throat dry and his voice scratched to come out as a whisper. The only thing remembered was falling asleep with his brother’s warm body on top of him which was gone now. His mind was trying to put things together, trying to remember anything to say where he was or how he got there. His mind was blank though.
Lifting a hand slowly to his face, fingers trailing down his cheek to feel tears he never knew we’re falling, mixed with some other substance, something that seemed to be all round him. Clothes, hair, hands, face, floor; everywhere. He couldn’t figure in out; it seemed warm yet cold now at the same time, as if it once had heat that was now lost.
Pressing a hand to the floor as he tried to stand his hand hit something hard and cold. Reaching down slowly to grasp and pick up the item carefully to see a knife, long silver blade glistening in unseen light, covering in something as well. Nothing made since, nothing at all.
The light of the room shot on without warning and a bright light filled the room, Nathan’s eyes closing quickly to avoid the light by any means. “W-What’s g-oing on-n.” he stuttered more then needed, blind from the light as he waited for time to adjust to the sudden brightness that filled the room he was in, slowly opening his eyes and wincing slightly as they fully opened. His first reaction was to look around quickly, seeing no one in the overly white room he was in. All white with nothing else like it was some kind of box he was being held captive in. Looking down though at the color of the floor, eyes wide as he noted what it was. Blood. Blood all around him, on him, on the knife in his hands which was dropped with a gasp. “Oh god, what’s going on?” he whimpered slightly, looking at his own hands in horror at the red substance that was starting to darken with the time. The blood was fresh, and that was for sure, but whose was it?
“Na-a-th-an” was the only answer he got, the voice sounding weak and broken. Turning slowly to look at the speaker, who was laying on his stomach on the floor, hands clawing weakly at the blood covered surface in which he lay. Blood that was his own. “W-hy? Why’d y-y-ou d-o it?” he whispered again, tears that he would have never expected to see coming from the boys eyes as Nathan shook his head, eyes wide from the sight and breath heavy.
The person laying covered in there own blood was Xavier. His brother and lover, his friend. He was saying Nathan did this, that it was his fault that he was dying; Nathan knew he was dying because of him though he couldn’t remember doing a thing. The knife was in his hands, the blood on his body, his brother saying so. Xavier was dying, dying because of him and only him
“Xavier?” he asked, as if saying his name would changed the scared look of pain and suffering; of betrayal on his brothers face. Xavier’s breathing was heavy, air pushing through to get to his lungs, wounds of knife marks on his back, side, stomach; everywhere stopping the flow. “Xave? W-What happened?” he asked again hurriedly, crawling to his brothers side fast, trying to do something; anything that would help him. “Oh god Xavier, I’m sorry. I’m so sorry.” he cried, tears falling from his eyes without notice to himself as he pulled Xavier body closer to him so that half his body was on him, arms wrapped around him. “Please don’t leave me... please.” he whispered, choking on sobs and muffled whimpers as he buried his face in his brothers hair wet bloody hair.
Xavier’s only response was a gasp as he was pulled for the pain rushing through him, which ended soon since he was so numb from blood lose and the other was a few mumbled words from Xavier. “I still love you.” Before his body went limp; his head felling to the side. The air that filled his chest only a few seconds ago left silently, and no more filled it. Everything was quiet, except Nathan’s sobs, and cries; pleading to let his brother stay with him. Begging for anything but let him die as he fell to the side lightly on to his butt, pulling Xavier with him to hold him close to his chest; his body now cold to touch. Through all of this, only Two things were going through Nathan’s mind. One, I want him back and the other, why did I enjoy killing him so much.......
((I should leave you here but I’m not that mean to let you wait like that peeps!!))
As if a sign something was wrong, Nathan jolted with a gasp for air as he woke; tears running down his face freely as it was buried in something warm and soft, like skin. More or less it was, the skin of his brothers bare chest as he slept, holding Nathan close in his arms. He had shifted during the few hours sleep to Nathan’s side, holing him face first against his chest tightly with both arms. He always seem to know when Nathan was going to or having a nightmare, because he always woke in those strong, warm arms. Something he was glad for as he clung to his brother, shivering and whimpering slightly from the horrific dream he had. They death of his own brother by his hands.
Xavier had felt the sudden moved and was pulled from the light sleep he had achieved at first, more of laying and listening to his younger Twin Cry in his sleep, Nightmares pledging his mind. He opened his eyes slowly, looking down at the messy and slightly sweat covered brown hair of his brothers head since his face was tightly buried to his chest. “Nath? What’s wrong?” he asked softly, rubbing his back gently for comfort. “It was another dream wasn’t it? It was only a dream.” he murmured, placing a kiss on Nathan’s head lightly. Nathan’s body was shivering, shaking uncontrollably as he cried; his eyes were wide as he clawed lightly at the skin of Xavier’s chest.
The nightmare, was it really just a nightmare? Could something like that feel so real, so life like? Why would that nightmare even come to him, why would it happen? Maybe this is the nightmare; maybe Xavier is really dead. All Questions Nathan’s mind were playing with; trying to put two and two together. He could feel his brother, his arms his kiss; everything about him yet he was still questioning if it was real. He didn’t know any more, he just didn’t know....
